Jaipur: While Rajasthan CM Ashok Gehlot is trying to save his government in Jaipur, Deputy Chief Minister Sachin Pilot is on a tour of Delhi. In such a delicate time, when CM Ashok Gehlot himself is saying that the BJP wants to topple his government, Sachin Pilot's absence in Jaipur is raising many questions.
When CM Ashok Gehlot on Saturday was taking a cabinet meeting, Sachin Pilot was not present in this meeting even after being the second big leader of the deputy CM government. He was in Delhi at this time. Not only this, according to the report, about 10 MLAs of Rajasthan are also in Delhi. These MLAs want to meet the Congress high command and tell their problems to the party chief. It is being told that these MLAs are staying near Gurugram. Jitendra Singh of Congress MLA in Jaipur has given this information. However, he has categorically denied that these MLAs have gathered in support of Sachin Pilot.
Let us tell you that Sachin Pilot is the president of Rajasthan Congress unit and deputy CM of the state. After the Congress victory in Rajasthan in 2018, veteran leaders Ashok Gehlot and Sachin Pilot were both in the race for the CM post, but the party high command appointed Ashok Gehlot as the CM and Sachin Pilot was appointed his deputy. To balance the power between Gehlot and Pilot, Sachin Pilot was also handed over to Bagdour of Rajasthan Congress unit.
