New Delhi: There is a demonstration of farmers about the farmers' movement. Many foreign celebrities have tweeted in support of this movement, including pop singer Rihanna and environmental activist Greta Thunberg. After his tweet, many big Bollywood stars, cricketers tweeted. Sachin Tendulkar to Lata Mangeshkar were included in this list. All tweeted in support of the government's stand. In this context, Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) chief Raj Thackeray has targeted the Modi government.

He recently said, 'It is not right to use people like Bharat Ratna like Lata Mangeshkar and Sachin Tendulkar'. Speaking to a well-known website, Raj Thackeray said, "The government should not have asked big personalities like Sachin Tendulkar and Lata Mangeshkar to tweet in support of his (government's) stand and that his reputation should not be at stake. After all, he is the Bharat Ratna recipient. Actors like Akshay Kumar are enough for this work. "
Earlier, various celebrities including Sachin Tendulkar and famous singer Lata Mangeshkar had supported the government's stance on social media by tweeting with the hashtag "India Together" and "India Augmented Propaganda". On Saturday, Nationalist Congress Party President Sharad Pawar had said, "I would suggest to Sachin Tendulkar that he should be cautious before making a statement on issues related to other fields."
