Mumbai: Arjun Tendulkar, son of India's former cricketer Sachin Tendulkar, is not far from cricket. Arjun has been selected in the Mumbai team. Left-handed fast bowler Arjun has been replaced in Mumbai's 15-man squad for the 'Bapuna Cup' to be played in Nagpur. The Mumbai Cricket Association announced the team on Monday.

The command of this team has been given in the hands of Surya Kumar Yadav. The Bapuna Cup, to be organized by the Vidarbha Cricket Association, is conducted before the start of the season. The tournament, to be played in 50 overs format, is scheduled to be held from September 5. The Mumbai team is as follows: Suryakumar Yadav (captain), Sarfraz Khan, Aditya Tare, Jai Bista, Shubham Ranjane, Raunak Sharma, Akash Parkar, Eknath Kerkar, Sufian Sheikh, Shams Mulani, Aditya Dhumal, Shashank Atdarde, Akib Qureshi, K.K.

Arjun Tendulkar has already played in the t20 league in Mumbai. The 'Aakash Tigers' team had linked him with a bid of Rs 5 lakh. Arjun was also inducted into Mumbai's 15-member team announced for the 'Vijji Trophy'. He has also been part of the Mumbai team in the 'Venu Makand' Under-19 Trophy. Arjun has shown his talent in many matches.
