Sukhbir Badal's attacks Congress, 'why didn't oppose agricultural bills in Parliament?'

Amritsar: Shiromani Akali Dal (Shiad) leader Sukhbir Singh Badal questioned Congress leader Rahul Gandhi's tractor journey in Punjab, saying why the Congress did not oppose the agricultural bills in Parliament. Sukhbir claimed that somewhere congress is in support of agriculture bills.

Former Punjab deputy CM and Akali Dal leader Sukhbir Singh Badal has questioned the Congress' protests, saying that while the Punjab Congress election manifesto promised to introduce private player and contract forming, why the Congress did not oppose the agricultural bills in Parliament. He also alleged that the Congress is somewhere in support of agricultural bills. Shiad chief Sukhbir Singh Badal said Rahul Gandhi is coming to Punjab to play. This is the Congress party that introduced these agricultural bills. Congress had written in its manifesto that they would open private 'mandis' when it came to power.

Congress is also continuously demonstrating on the central agricultural laws. On Monday, Congress workers had put a tractor on fire in the national capital and protested against the agriculture bills. Congress leader Rahul Gandhi is going to visit Punjab against the Central government.
