Saeed Jaffrey blames himself for his wife, would be surprised to know the reason

Bollywood multi-talented actor Saeed Jaffrey was born on this day. Even though he is not among us today, his performance has not been forgotten by the people so far. Saeed Jaffrey was a good actor as well as a writer and mimicry artist. He was born in Punjab and his father, Dr Hamid Hussain Jaffrey, was a doctor. Saeed passed away from a brain haemorrhage at his London home. He passed away on 15th November 2015.

Saeed Jaffrey may have played small roles in films or got fewer screens, but even then he would weigh his presence in the film with his performance. Apart from films, Saeed Jaffrey's personal life also had something different. Saeed Jaffrey acted in Satyajit Ray's 1977 film Shatranj Ke Khiladi. He started his career with the English film The Guru. The film is said to have brought him a lot of fame and his performance was appreciated.

He was confronted by veteran actor Sanjeev Kumar in the film at that time, though his shine did not fade. After this film, he acted in big and hit films like Chashmebadur, Mandi, Masoom and Ram Teri Ganga Maali Ho Gayi. In most of the films, Saeed either played the role of a father or played a negative role in some films but all the characters he played were excellent. In an interview, Saeed Jaffrey had once revealed his personal life and said that he had been guilty of the failure of his married life. Sayeed had said, 'He did injustice to his wife Mahrunima alias Madhur Jaffrey.

He could never give his wife the freedom she deserved. Saeed said, 'He wanted his wife to be a little modern, but failing that, he started to distance himself from his wife.'
