Actress Sagarika Ghatge, popularly known as 'Chak De Girl' in Bollywood, is celebrating her 36th birthday today, yes Sagarika Ghatge was born on this day i.e. 8th January 1986 in Kolhapur. Sagarika Ghatge, who made her Bollywood debut with Bollywood's King Shah Rukh Khan in the film Chak De, India, started her career with the 2007 film 'Chak De India' in which she played Indian hockey team player Preeti Sabarwal and Bollywood king Shah Rukh Khan became the coach of the hockey team in the same film.

The film was a huge hit and Sagarika also received the Screen Award for Best Supporting Actress for her outstanding performance. After the spectacular success of Chak De India, Sagarika did many other films and acted opposite Emraan Hashmi in the film Rush.
 
In addition, films like "Fox", "Mile Na Mile Hum" also showed her acting prowess. Sagarika also starred in the Marathi film "Premki Katha" which was made by Satish Rajwade and released in 2013. After that Sagarika rarely appeared in films. At present, there are reports that Sagarika Ghatge has distanced herself from the film industry.
