Mumbai: The issue of Sai Baba's birthplace has now come to the High Court. At the same time, Sai Janmabhoomi Pathri Institute has filed a petition in the Bombay High Court. The controversy started when the state Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray described Pathri village as the birthplace of Sai and said that he would release Rs 100 crore for the development of the village. The residents of Shirdi have opposed this. At the same time, he says that Baba had never told about his religion, village, caste, etc. during his lifetime. There is no authentic evidence about Pathri being his birthplace.

According to the information, the Shiv Sena, while clarifying the controversy over the birthplace of Saibaba, said on Wednesday that this dispute was born unnecessarily. The party wrote in an editorial in its mouthpiece Saamana, that the controversy that had started regarding the birthplace of Sant Saibaba was halted by Baba's grace. Shirdi prospered due to Saibaba. No one can take away the prosperity of the city where the saint died. The assets of Saibaba Sansthan are more than 2600 crores, due to which social work is done.
