Adaguduru (Yadadri-Bhongir): "Police called her in the afternoon and informed that Raju was alive and asked them to identify him. She said that "she was married to Raju two years ago and has a six-month-old baby girl." She urged the government to do justice to them, as she has to look after her infant and old mother-in-law. Raju's mother Veeramma alleged that his suicide was a fabricated story by the police. Raju's sister Anita Raju alleged that his death was a planned murder by the police. He spoke to the media at Adaguduru, the native place of Raju's brother-in-law. Police released Raju's mother, sister, brother-in-law, wife on Wednesday night after 5 days of custody.

The body of Raju, an absconding accused in the Saidabad rape case, was found on the railway track between Ghatkesar and Warangal near Pamanuru in Ghanpur division on Thursday. The body was identified on the basis of the tattoo made on the hand. Raju was a suspect accused of raping and murdering a six-year-old girl from Singareni Colony, Saidabad, Hyderabad. The accused was absconding after the incident. Police had formed special teams to nab the accused.
