Director of several super hits like the House full series, Sajid Khan was seen at Amit Thackeray's wedding reception today. The filmmaker made his first public appearance in front of the media post being accused of sexual misconduct by several of his female colleagues in the Bollywood film industry last year. Sajid donned a black coloured sherwani nd completed the look with a blue half jacket to the reception party.
Sajid Khan was accused of sexual harassment in October 2018 by Mandana Karimi, Rachel White, Simran Suri, Saloni Chopra and journalist Karishma Upadhyay via the #MeToo movement. Due to such accusations, the filmmaker was suspended by the Indian Film & Television Directors' Association for a period of one year. He was also issued a notice along with a letter by the association demanding explanation for his offensive behavior.
Sajid Khan had therefore refused to directing, Housefull 4 in October 2018. Most of the cast and crew of Houseful 4 including Akshay Kumar were upset with Sajid's decision of quitting the film halfway. The director however refused to all such charges which were made against too. But he did accept that his behaviour towards both men and women were impolite and also admitted to having sexual relations with many women but with their consent.
