Sakshi Malik's dream of participating in the Tokyo Olympics is still intact, as the Wrestling Federation of India (WFI) has decided to conduct fresh trials in two sections to select women wrestlers for the Asia Olympic qualifier. 2-time cadet World Champion Sonam Malik defeated Sakshi in the 62kg trials, but could not win a medal at the Asian Championships, giving the WFI another chance to make Rio Olympic bronze medalist Sakshi a place in the Indian team.
