Ekta Kapoor gave us a perfect image of sanskari bahu, Parvati in Kahani Ghar Ghar Ki (2000), portrayed by Sakshi Tanwar. The show was a huge success and Sakshi became the superstar in every household. After all, our moms have cried with her, felt her pain and had related to her struggles. While the series ended after 8-long-years, our love for Sakshi grew stronger! We loved the ways she led her life on her own terms. The actress made headlines last year when she chose to embrace motherhood at the age of 45 and adopted a nine-month-old baby girl. She named the beautiful angel, Ditya which is another name of Goddess Lakshmi.
Recently, in an interview with SpotboyE, Sakshi talked her heart out on embracing motherhood, and shared, “It’s like any other parent who goes through this. I think I am no different. I am just like any other parent. I go through the same phase that every parent has to.” Sakshi also talked about how happy she is of stepping into the next level with Ekta Kapoor, who is also a single mother. She stated, “I think it’s a beautiful phase when we are moving on to the next level in our personal life. And I am glad that we both are experiencing motherhood at the same time. What can I say as it’s the most beautiful feeling ever!”
Earlier, in an interview, Sakshi had shared her happiness of being a mother, and had stated, “With the blessings of my parents and the support of my family and friends, I have adopted a baby girl who would soon turn 9 months old. I am extremely delighted to share my happiness with you as I welcome the bundle of joy in my life. This is undoubtedly the greatest moment of my life and I and my entire family are elated to embrace Dityaa. She is the answer to all my prayers and I feel blessed to have her in my life.”
