A highly anticipated film of this year is Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif’s Bharat. The film has been in the news from quite some time. Be it due to the exit of an actress at the last minute or just the no phones policy while filming the movie, the Salman and Katrina starrer surely have made it to the headlines again and again.

Now, ahead of the release of the film, Bharat is in the news as a petition has been filed against the film in Delhi High Court for hurting patriotic sentiments.

As per a report, the petition against Salman and Katrina’s film has been moved to Delhi High Court and it is to change the name of the film. As per the petitioner, the name of the film is against Section 3 of the Emblems and Names (Prevention of Improper Use) Act.

As per this act, the word ‘Bharat’ cannot be used for any professional and commercial purposes. The PIL doesn’t end at the change in the title of Salman’s film.

Adding to it, the petitioner also wanted a particular dialogue also to be removed from the film where the leading man compares him to the name of the country. While the particular dialogue surely left a lasting impression on the fans that saw the trailer, the petitioner has said that it has hurt the Bharatiya (Indian) sentiments.
