Soon after receiving this letter, Salim Khan had lodged a complaint with the police through his security guard and after recording his statement, the police have registered a case under Section 506 of the IPC.''

In this case, Salim Khan told the police that after finishing his morning walk, it is fixed for him to sit on the same bench every day. He had gone on a walk with his two bodyguards on Sunday morning. In such a situation, a bodyguard saw the letter lying on the bench. In his complaint, Salim Khan has not suspected anyone of threatening to kill him. Not only this, but they have also handed over the threatening letter to the police. Punjabi singer Sidhu Mosewala was shot dead last month and Sidhu's chest was sprayed with bullets by some unknown people near Jawaharke village in Mansa, Punjab.
