New Delhi: Veteran Congress leader and former Union minister Salman Khurshid has once again been embroiled in controversy over his book Sunrise over Ayodhya. Salman Khurshid in his new book compares Hindutva to jihadist Islam of the terrorist organization ISIS and Boko Haram, which has been criticized all around. However, Salman Khursheed has now come clean on the surging controversy.

Salman Khursheed has clarified that 'I have never called Hindutva a terrorist organization. I waited for the apex court order to write this book. Khurshid further said, 'I have written in this book that those who misuse Hinduism are supporters of ISIS and Boko Haram. There's no terrorist word anywhere in my book.'

Salman Khurshid said, 'My book mentions Mahatma Gandhi. Mr. Ram's name is also there'. The whole Ramayana is the essence. But people who believe in Hinduism are not talking about it. The Congress leader said, 'I have tried to mention what my party says, does and thinks in my book. If the Congress says don't say that, I won't say that, of course, but the party has supported this book.'
