As per the latest reports Salman Khan and 'Hum Sath Sath Hai' co-actors Tabu, Sonali Bendre, Saif Ali Khan and Neelam had gone hunting on the night of October 1-2, 1998 in Jodhpur. There Salman Khan had shot and killed two blackbucks and was convicted by the court yesterday. Salman has been sentenced to five years imprisonment, whereas Tabu, Neelam Soni, Sonali Bendre and Saif Ali Khan have been acquitted due to the lack of evidence.
And recently we come across with the news that it was Tabu who had provoked Salman Khan to shoot the blackbuck. The eyewitness told a leading news channel that Salman Khan was provoked by Tabu to pull the trigger.
In an earlier interview, Salman Khan had revealed that he did not kill the blackbuck, but had refused to give the name of the person who did. "I was not the one who shot," Salman Khan had told.
Not only this Salman Khan has been lodged in the Jodhpur central jail and will spend the night there. His lawyers have already filed the bail plea, which the Sessions court will hear in the morning. The DIG (Jail) informed the media that Salman Khan has been lodged in ward no.2 in the jail.
