Lucknow: Political turmoil has intensified in all parties after the announcement of the date of the UP assembly elections. Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah are campaigning for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) from Kairana on Saturday. Amit Shah fled during the SP government in Kairana and yogi will meet the traders and families who returned to Raj. Samajwadi Party (SP) spokesperson Fakharul Hasan Chand has Koo ahead of Amit Shah's visit to Kairana.

He has written, "Jats and Muslims in western Uttar Pradesh swear that they will vote for the farmers, employment, costliness, progress in the elections. People are coming from Delhi to talk about Hindus and Muslims, but you should not deviate from your issues, you should give a befitting reply to those who come from Delhi. Talking about Amit Shah's visit, District President Satendra Tomar said that the Home Minister will visit Kairana and meet Rakesh Garg, owner of 70-year-old Sadhu Sweets, who is present at Mohalla Dome in Kairana, and other traders. He said Rakesh Garg had fled to Ambala in 2014 in fear after miscreants of the goons. Amit Shah will also meet two or three other traders at his residence.

The Samajwadi Party (SP) has re-fielded Nahid Hasan from Kairana seat in Shamli district. Several criminal cases have already been registered against Nahid Hasan in the police. The BJP has termed the SP's decision to give the ticket to Nahid Hasan as "Jinnabad" of the SP and also alleged that the SP has fielded Nahid Hasan, the mastermind of the exodus in Kairana.
