Lucknow: The Uttar Pradesh Police has made a shocking revelation in the murder case of Samajwadi Party (SP) leader Firoz Pappu. Police have told that Firoz Pappu was murdered by Rizwan Zaheer, a two-time SP MP from Balrampur. In this case, UP Police has arrested Rizwan Zaheer, his daughter Jeba and Jamai Rameez.
About two months ago, Rizwan Zaheer had again suppressed the SP, after which the factionalism started between Rizwan and Feroz Pappu, a former president of Tulsipur Nagar Panchayat. The two were pushing each other back and pushing to strengthen their grip on the situation. Disclosing the incident, Balrampur Superintendent of Police Hemant Kutiyal said that the ever-increasing popularity of Feroz Ahmed alias Feroz Pappu was posing a threat to Rizwan Zaheer. In fact, Feroz Pappu was a strong contender for the SP ticket from the Tulsipur assembly seat, but Rizwan wanted to get his daughter Jeba a ticket from here.
But when Rizwan felt that his work was not going to make, Rizwan Zaheer, his daughter Jeba, Jamai Rameez and Shakeel together hatched a conspiracy to kill Firoz Pappu. The responsibility of carrying out this incident was given to Mehraj and Mahfouz. After this, Firoz Pappu was put to death on 4 January 2022 in the new year. UP Police has arrested 6 people in this case.
