Lucknow: The issue of electricity continues to get bigger in the Uttar Pradesh assembly elections. Earlier, there was a war of words between UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and Samajwadi Party (SP) national president Akhilesh Yadav over electricity, while now-former state minister Shivpal Yadav is reaching out to the people over the issue of electricity during the vote appeal. During the election campaign in Etawah, Shivpal Yadav has told the people that in the Yogi government, the house of whose has been raided and the slip has been cut over electricity.

Shivpal further said that let's form our government, I will get back the fine along with interest as soon as the government comes. Shivpal further said that 300 units of electricity will be given free of cost as soon as the government is formed. When the bill does not come, then for which an FIR will be lodged? In our government, there were no electricity raids, whether there is a connection or not, still use the electricity. Shivpal Yadav, who has come to seek votes among the people, has made a flurry of promises one after the other. Shivpal said that in every family, he will give a government job to a son or a daughter. The boys who are unemployed will be provided Rs 5 lakh each from the Adani-Ambani government treasury for employment.

Shivpal Yadav further said that if you people (voters) ask, then we will get the support price of wheat and paddy at Rs 2500 per quintal. Potatoes and garlic will not be cheap. Potatoes were not allowed to be cheap under my government, we had brought potatoes to be sold abroad.
