Lucknow: The vote counting of votes for the Uttar Pradesh assembly elections is underway and the trends that have emerged so far in the state. According to him, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) seems to be getting a majority in the state. The Samajwadi Party (SP) has also done better than last time in the election. But he is still far from forming the government. Amidst election trends, the Samajwadi Party has raised questions about the ongoing vote counting in Jaunpur.

The SP has questioned the Election Commission about it and said that only 16,000 votes have been counted in Jaunpur so far. In Gorakhpur Rural, 1 lakh 32 thousand votes have been counted. In fact, the SP has already raised questions about EVMs. At the same time, the coming election trends in the state seem to give the party a clear majority. As of 1.45 pm, the BJP is leading in 276 seats and the SP in 120 seats. 

However, the election results are being said to be announced by the evening. But amidst the poll trends, the SP has raised questions on the slow counting. The SP has questioned the Election Commission and alleged that only 16,000 votes have been counted in Ghazipur, while 1.32 lakh votes have been counted in Gorakhpur. The SP has questioned the Election Commission as to why the counting of seats leading by the SP, alliance is being done at a slow pace. The Election Commission should answer that.
