According to sources, she shared her happiness, Samantha said, "As the demand for digital content is increasing, I knew that I will soon be a part of it. I can't get a good chance to make a debut in the digital world with the country's favorite and acclaimed web series 'Family Man'. In the show, the character I am going to play is very different from the old characters I played till now. Through this role, I am going to give something new to my loved ones.'

During the conversation related to the show, Manoj Bajpayee also expressed happiness over Samantha becoming a part of the series. Manoj further told about the reaction from the audience, 'As an artist, there is nothing greater than the appreciation of its audience and fans. I am very excited by the kind of feedback I have received on my performance. I would like to thank the makers for trusting me and providing a chance to play a unique character like Srikanth Tiwari. I have enjoyed working in the first series and now I am looking forward to the second season.'
