Samantha and Naga Chaitanya are one of the ideal couples in Tollywood. After several years of courtship, the couple walked down the aisle in October 2017 in Goa. Since then the couple has been setting relationship goals for their ardent fans. Samantha revealed that it took them eight years to be in the same headspace. Expounding progressively about it, Samantha said, "It took us eight years to be at a similar point. Since there were times when I truly liked him and he was not in that space. And there were times when we needed to work it out, but external components. It required us a very long time to be in the same space."

Previously, Samantha has opened up about her relationship with her husband Naga Chaitanya and the prospect of having a baby with him. During one of the interviews, Samantha said, "After my marriage, I was able to control my anger levels. Regardless of how big our fight is, we casually sit beside each other and talk it out. People who might see us would not even realize that we are having a fight. It would simply appear like just another discussion we have. And our decibel levels never increase beyond a limit."
Actress also revealed that she and Naga Chaitanya have 'fixed a timeline for having a baby.' She said, "When I have a child, that child is going to be my universe. I had the best regard for working moms. My childhood was not very rosy. For all adults, who haven't had a very rosy childhood, the first thing they will let you know is that they want to give their child everything that they did not have. That's something that has stayed with me.
