Bhopal: BJP leader Sambit Patra is now under siege in the toolkit case. In fact, a notice has been sent by the Raipur police. The notice is said to have been issued for questioning Sambit Patra. In the notice, Sambit Patra has been directed to appear in the Police Station Civil Line, Raipur at 4 pm today. At the same time, orders have also been issued to take action for non-compliance of the notice.

A complaint has reportedly been lodged against Sambit Patra by a local NSUI leader Akash Sharma and a notice has since been issued. Let us also tell you that Sambit Patra posted a tweet on 18th May. In that tweet, he claimed that "Congress toolkit is defaming Modi regime. In fact, in his tweet, Sambit Patra had claimed that "Rahul Gandhi who tweets every morning is also part of the same toolkit through which the government is being maligned".

He had said that it deliberately commented on Kumbh while silence has been maintained on Eid. Moreover, the Congress has accused BJP leaders of propagating fake documents to defame them. As part of the recent information, an FIR was lodged by Chhattisgarh NSUI against former Chief Minister Raman Singh and BJP spokesperson Sambit Patra. NSUI state president Akash Sharma had lodged a complaint with the Civil Line police station in Raipur in connection with the same toolkit case after which police registered a FIR on the basis of a complaint and have now issued a notice for questioning.
