Mumbai: Former Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) zonal officer Sameer Wankhede has received death threats through social media. Wankhede has informed the Mumbai Police in this regard. Wankhede, in his complaint to the Mumbai Police, has appealed for an inquiry into it. It has been reported that the Twitter account was created on August 14 and from which Sameer Wankhede has been threatened.

Sameer Wankhede told the Mumbai Police that he has received death threats through social media. In his complaint, former NCB zonal director Sameer Wankhede told the Mumbai Police that the account through which the complaint was given was created on August 14 itself. In the message sent by a person named Aman, it has been written that 'You do not know what you have done, you have to pay for it, we will kill you.''

Sameer Wankhede arrested Aryan Khan:

Let me tell you, Sameer Wankhede suddenly came into the limelight after arresting Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan's son Aryan Khan. Wankhede had arrested Aryan in a drug case, after which Wankhede started being called anti-Muslim. Many Muslim leaders, including NCP leader Nawab Malik, had said that Aryan Khan was caught only because he is the son of Muslim superstar Shah Rukh Khan. However, Aryan himself confessed in the interrogation that he has been taking drugs for the last 4 years and his parents i.e. Shahrukh-Gauri also know this, but the court gave Aryan a clean chit in this case. And call it the effect of influence or something else that it was only after this case that Wankhede was removed from his post and the investigation of the Aryan case was handed over to another officer. At the same time, now Wankhede has received this threat, in such a situation, it is believed that he has received this threat only due to the arrest of Aryan.
