Mumbai: Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) Zonal Director Sameer Wankhede met National Commission for Scheduled Castes Vice-Chairman Arun Haldar some time ago and applied. In fact, the two met last Saturday (October 30, 2021) and a statement has been made by Arun Haldar thereafter. In this story, he said, "He thinks Sameer Wankhede belongs to the Scheduled Castes.'' At the same time, he also said that Sameer has denied the allegations of conversion.

According to some media reports, the National Commission for Scheduled Castes had sought clarifications from the Government of Mumbai last Friday (October 29, 2021). In fact, this clarification was sought after Sameer Wankhede's complaint to the Commission and in his complaint, Sameer Wankhede accused himself of harassing him. Let me tell you that Sameer Wankhede made this complaint on 26th October 2021 (Tuesday). In fact, on Sameer's complaint, the Scheduled Castes Commission has started investigating the allegations. Let me tell you that the Commission has these powers under Article 338 of the Constitution. Talking about Sameer Wankhede, a notice has been sent to the Maharashtra chief secretary, DGP and Mumbai police commissioner on his complaint.

In fact, these officers have been asked by the Commission to reply to the notice within 7 days. Let me tell you that this controversy started when Maharashtra Minister Nawab Malik questioned the certificates put up by Sameer Wankhede in his job. In fact, Nawab Malik had said, "Sameer Wankhede is a Muslim, while Sameer Wankhede described himself as an SC community. Let me tell you that this series of allegations started after the arrest of Shah Rukh Khan's son Aryan Khan by NCB on a cruise in Mumbai. Earlier, during a hearing in the Bombay High Court on Thursday (October 28, 2021), the Maharashtra government had taken its stand and the Maharashtra government counsel had apprised the court of the situation in the hearing.

On the other hand, the Maharashtra government counsel says that four separate petitions are pending against Sameer Wankhede. The petitions are being examined by an ACP level officer. At the same time, the public prosecutor also said that no case has been registered so far.
