Dehradun: After Uttar Pradesh, the largest state of the country, the Samrat Prithviraj film has also become tax-free in Uttarakhand. CM Pushkar Singh Dhami announces to make the film tax-free. Subsequently, the Finance Department issued an order. According to an order issued by Additional Secretary (Finance) BK Mathpal, the state government will reimburse SGST on the ticket of Samrat Prithviraj film in multiplexes and theatres of the state. This reimbursement may be payable within a period of up to 6 months from the date of issue of the order. The SGST funds will not be taken from the customers.

Earlier, CM Dhami wrote on Twitter that the film 'Samrat Prithviraj'' in Uttarakhand will be tax-free. You must watch this film based on the life of Emperor Prithviraj Chauhan ji, who is full of patriotism, courage and might. The film Prithviraj is releasing across the country on Friday. State BJP president Madan Kaushik welcomed the CM's announcement.  

The party's state media in-charge Manvir Singh Chauhan said that the bravery, sacrifice and glory stories of the Hindu emperor have been overlooked in history. The history of the invaders was exaggerated. The film showcases the bravery of Prithviraj and brings out the glorious history of India.
