Samsung shares teaser of Galaxy S21, pre-booking hints launch in January

The South Korean tech giant Samsung recently shared a teaser of its upcoming flagship phone, the Galaxy S21. As per the teaser, the company posted a video on YouTube. In this video, Samsung shows a quick recap of its various Galaxy S series phones over the years, and also highlighted the major feature of each smartphone. This 30-second video starts with Samsung Galaxy S, and ends with a message titled ‘A new Galaxy awaits’. The Galaxy is expected to launch this month but no official announcement has been done about its specification. 

The Galaxy series is also expected to have a Plus and Ultra variant. The pre-booking of this smartphone starts by Samsung China and Samsung US has also offered free accessories worth USD 50 (about Rs 3,600) for users who pre-order their Galaxy S21. The Samsung US also mentioned the validity of pre-order period which is until the midnight of January 28. 

 

Talking about the specification, Samsung Galaxy S21 could have a 6.2-inch flat display with a centre-aligned punch-hole camera. According to the rumours, this smartphone will be embedded with a triple-camera setup on the back with a flash. Meanwhile, an S21 Ultra variant is rumoured to feature five camera sensors on the rear. The upcoming smartphone would be powered by the flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chipset in some regions. The leak also suggests the standard S21 could feature a 4,000mAh battery while the S21 Plus could feature a 4,800mAh battery.
