Now Samsung has officially confirmed at the ongoing Mobile World Congress (MWC 2022) in Barcelona that the Galaxy Note series has been discontinued. Earlier, Samsung had said that it is looking to focus on phones like Galaxy Z Fold and Z Flip. The final phone in the Note series is the Samsung Galaxy Note 20.

In an interview at MWC 2022, Samsung smartphone head Roh Tae-moon has said that the Galaxy Note is now the Galaxy Ultra. According to reports, Samsung has recently launched the Galaxy S22 series. The biggest feature of the Galaxy Note series was the S Pen that Samsung is offering with the Galaxy S22 Ultra. The Galaxy S22 Ultra is the first phone in the S series, with which the support of the S Pen is also available. The Galaxy Z series has also supported the S Pen.

The Galaxy Note series was launched in 2011: Samsung has introduced the Galaxy Note series for the first time in 2011. Samsung Galaxy Note had a 5.3-inch display, which has also given the tag of a large display during that time. Along with the phone, a stylus is also being given as an S Pen. After the launch, Samsung also sold one crore units of the Galaxy Note.

After which in 2012, the Galaxy Note 2 was introduced, whose 30 million units were sold in just two months. The Galaxy Note 2 also features a 5.5-inch display. Along with this, support of S Pen was also given. There is also an option to magnify text with Note 2's S Pen.
