Samsung, has unveiled a new 2016 edition of the Galaxy Tab A tablet on the company's German website.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016) will come in Wi-Fi and LTE variants priced at EUR 289 (approximately Rs. 22,000) and EUR 349 (approximately Rs. 26,500) respectively. There is only one difference between the Wi-Fi and LTE variants of the Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016) - the latter comes with SIM card and supports 4G LTE. Rest of the specifications of both the models is same.

The Galaxy Tab A (2016) features a 10.1-inch TFT display (1920×1200 p) and runs Android Marshmallow. The device is powered by 1.6GHz octa-core processor, coupled with 2GB RAM and 16GB ROM (expandable up to 200 GB via microSD cards).

It is having 8 MP rear primary camera with LED flash and 2 MP front camera.

The tablet is backed by a 7300mAh battery and comes with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, Glonass, and Micro-USB connectivity options as well. It measures 254.2x155.3x8.2mm and weighs 525 grams.

As of now, there is no word whether the Galaxy Tab A 10.1 (2016) will be launching in more markets outside Europe including India.
