New Delhi: Renowned smartphone maker Samsung is planning to increase its market share in India's TV market. Samsung India plans to enter this festive season with new technology and many new models of television. Samsung's plan is to expand its market share of LED TV to 60%. The company has come up with a comprehensive strategy to achieve this goal. It has to increase its penetration in small and medium cities through marketing along with offers offered on festive occasions.

Samsung is two steps ahead in the domestic smart TV market growing at an annual pace of 25 percent. The company is growing in this market at a rate of 40%. Raju Pullan, Senior Vice President, Consumer Electronics Business, Samsung India, said in an interaction with Dainik Jagran that the company is working on a strategy to increase market share this festive season. The entire focus of the company is to provide better technology products to the customers.

Also, customers are being encouraged to upgrade from old TVs to new ones through special offers on the occasion of festivals. Pullan said that among the new television models Samsung has launched before the festivals, four models are with 8-K technology.

Apart from this, the company has also launched two new series in the UHD television category. Also, a new AI model of 32 inches size has also been introduced in the Smart TV series.
