Hollywood star Samuel Jackson has bagged a big project recently. Nick Fury is the latest Marvel character to be getting a TV series at Disney+ and Samuel L. Jackson has been roped in to play his iconic role. The actor’s first appearance as Nick Fury was in the post-credits scene of the first Iron Man movie in 2018 and he has since then appeared in nearly a dozen of the Marvel Cinematic Universe films.

Now, according to reports by a leading entertainment daily, Samuel is set to be seen in the series and Mr. Robot writer Kyle Bradstreet is on the board to write and turn out as the executive producer. Plot details are unknown at this time but multiple sources say Jackson is attached to star with Kyle Bradstreet to write and executively produce. Like all the other Marvel shows at Disney Plus, Marvel Studios will produce.

He is also known for his frequent collaborations with filmmaker Quentin Tarantino, including starring roles in “Pulp Fiction,” “Django Unchained,” “The Hateful Eight,” and “Jackie Brown.” He also had smaller roles in Tarantino’s “Kill Bill: Volume 1” and “Inglorious Basterds.” Jackson’s other major film credits include his portrayal of Mace Windu in the “Star Wars” prequel trilogy, the “Incredibles” films, the campy “Snakes on a Plane,” and recent titles such as “Shaft” and “Glass.”
