Muzaffarnagar: During the raid, sand mafia attacked police officers and injured six policemen, including two officers at Gandrao village in Shamli district.
The incident happened on Tuesday when seven tractor-trolleys loaded with sand seized by the police team.
Those who injured in the incident, identified as Sub-inspectors Aadesh Kumar and Bachchu Singh and constables Ankit, Vikas, Shahzad and Dipanshu were then rushed to a hospital.
A case has been registered against 150 people and named 19 in the FIR.
