On the 42nd anniversary of their mother Nargis Dutt's passing, actors Sanjay Dutt and Priya Dutt mourned her. On Wednesday, Sanjay and Priya posted flashback images to Instagram to honor their mother.
Sanjay Dutt posted a vintage photo on his Instagram account. Young Sanjay, who is adorable, is depicted in the image. He is seated next to his late mother, Nargis Dutt, who continues to glow. Sanju adopts a sweet stance as she holds Sanjay's little sister near to her. Sanjay shared this wonderful image with the caption, "Miss you, Maa! Your love and warmth continue to guide me every day, and I am forever grateful for the lessons you taught me.”
Priya created a video collage on Instagram and attached a note to it. The collage included various vintage images of Nargis, her on-screen spouse Sunil Dutt, Sanjay, Priya, and Namrata Dutt. She penned,
She also added, "You taught me love and compassion, you taught me to smile through adversities and see the positive in everything. These were my life's most important lessons. I know you are always With me as my beautiful guardian angel. Love you forever." She also added a 'my guardian angel' sticker. Priya didn't caption the post but simply wrote, "1/06/1929 - 3/05/1981."
Reacting to the post, his wife Maanayata Dutt posted red heart emojis. A fan wrote, "Aww lovely pic." Another person said, "Priceless." A comment read, "Great Soul." An Instagram user said, "Baba is always cute."
After a fire broke out on the Mother India set in 1957, Nargis and Sunil fell in love. Sanjay Dutt, Priya Dutt, and Namrata Dutt were the couple's three children, who were born on March 11, 1958. Nargis received a pancreatic cancer diagnosis in the early 1980s and passed away not long after.
