Earlier the news was there that Sanjay Dutt has given green signal to a comedy movie titled as 'Blockbuster'. The movie will be written by duo Sajid-Farhad who previously worked on Dhamaal, Golmaal Returns, and Housefull 2 scripts.

But according to the recent reports, Sanjay Dutt has apparently opted out of the film. Talking about it, a source stated to the daily, "When Sanjay met another producer friend recently, he was overheard saying that the multi-starrer comedy Bittu was planning, isn’t happening anymore. He has opted out of Blockbuster and the film is on the backburner for now."

Talking about the movie Blockbuster, Sanjay stated, "I have always loved doing comedy. It is the genre that makes me feel at home. The scale of Blockbuster is huge and multi-starrers always connect well with audiences. I am really excited about working with Sandeep again."

Producer Sandeep Singh added, "It was my dream to make a comedy with Baba. There are few people who can make you laugh like he does. It's not just his timing that is perfect, it's the expressions he gives that are hilarious. Wonderful to be working with Ajay and Lovel who bring years of experience and creativity to Bollywood."
