The founder of the National Society Party (RSP) and Maharashtra government cabinet minister Mahadev Jankar claimed on Sunday that Sanjay was about to join his party. The RSP is an ally of the BJP in Maharashtra. Addressing a party function by Minister of Animal Husbandry and Dairy Development, Jankar said, "We have started working in the film sector for the expansion of our party. Sanjay Dutt is also joining the national society on September 25."
