Lucknow: The health of former Uttar Pradesh CM and former Governor of Rajasthan and Himachal Pradesh Kalyan Singh, who was undergoing treatment in the intensive care medicine intensive care room (ICU) of Sanjay Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences (SGPGI) in UP's capital Lucknow, is constantly improving. The hospital has informed in this regard on Monday.
An official bulletin issued by the SGPGI said, "Kalyan Singh (89) is in a better condition and his health is constantly improving. He is also talking to his relatives and the staff engaged in their care. A team of senior doctors including heart disease, neurodisease, diabetes and kidney specialist is engaged in their treatment. Experts are monitoring important parameters and their daily investigation.'' SGPGI Director Professor R K Dhiman himself is monitoring his treatment.
Union Women and Child Development Minister Smriti Irani arrived SGPGI on Monday to meet Kalyan Singh. Singh also spoke to Smriti Irani, minister of medical education and finance and parliamentary affairs of the Uttar Pradesh government, who also met Kalyan Singh on Sunday night and asked him about his skills.
