In the film industry, Sanjay Leela Bhansali is said to be one of the finest filmmakers of Bollywood. The director is right now enjoying the outstanding box office collection of his last release 'Padmaavat'. The movie starrer the hit Jodi of Bollywood Ranveer Kapoor with Deepika Padukone including Shahid Kapoor. The blockbuster hit has broken many box office records and has crossed the benchmark of Rs 540 crore worldwide.

According to the interview given by Sanjay Leela Bhansali to HT, when asked about his journey he said that there is still a long way to go and lot more to travel, as a filmmaker. He said that now the second phase of life has started and he needs to find all the energies again, quotes Pinkvilla.

The director further added that the net practice has taken place for 24 years and now he is ready to play the actual match. He loves being in this industry and made the films that he wanted to without worrying about how commercially successful they will be. Instead, he also added that he was always worried about 'will it be artistically successful or not?' or 'will I be understood (by people) or not?'.

Bhansali quotes his film journey as 'great fun'. For this, he said, ''In the past 24 years, I've been the most alive filmmaker. No one gets so much love, hatred or even jealousy,''
 
The 
ace director feels that it's the audience that makes his films special. He said that if he is cursed in many ways that he have to go through so many things and he also feels blessed. So, while some love my work and other hate it but they all react to it.
