DADRI: Sanjay Rana who used to associated with the BJP  and was much talked about personality in the Bisada village, is the man rousing the pot in Dadri.

Rana told media on the matter of his son and nephew are in jail for Mohammad Akhlaq's killing he said that, “all the 18 accused are "like my children" and he is fighting for all. From RTI applications to the UP government to establish his own phone records, to applications in court that got him the 'beef report', Rana is pulling all stops ahead of June 6 when a fast-track court could frame charges. "I want CBI to takeover the case and re-investigate. My plea for this before Allahabad High Court is coming up on June 12," 

He further added, "If my family members were involved in the matter, would I rather not cover up than calling up the police," Rana asked. He flashed an RTI reply by UP Police dated January 19 which said a call to the police at 2228 hours on September 28 came from Rana's mobile. The reply said the call informed police of a cow slaughter in the village. Rana has submitted this RTI reply to the trial court in defence of his family  Rana also wants the police to lodge a case of cow slaughter against Akhlaq's family or said he will move court again. He filed an RTI application with the Mathura lab in’’ 

"The matter is secret and related to court...the report was submitted to the Dadri Veterinary Hospital in December," Rana said when he asked about the fake report. Mathura lab respond to Rana, He used the same to go to court saying the report was not part of the charge sheet. The court asked for the same from police and made it public”.
