Sanjay Raut hits out at Congress through 'Saamna'

Mumbai: Shiv Sena spokesperson and MP Sanjay Raut has recently made unhindered remarks on the Congress party in an article titled 'Roktok' in Shiv Sena's mouthpiece 'Saamna.' He wrote in his article, "The Congress again lagged behind in the elections held across the country." At the same time, he quoted Congress leader in the Lok Sabha Adhir Ranjan Chaudhary as saying that "the election result of West Bengal was insulting to the Congress, "HUMILIATING LOSS." Not a single Congress and Left candidate could win in the 290-member West Bengal legislation.''

Sanjay Raut further wrote, "Happy with Mamata Banerjee's victory. But the pain over the downfall of the Congress is equally intense. If the Congress is here today, where will the Congress be in the 2024 electoral scenario? Will there be any new direction in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections after Mamata Banerjee's victory? If the Opposition tries to form an alliance together, who will represent it? It should be unanimously decided and the Congress should also agree to it.'' He further compared Mamata Banerjee to Ahilya Devi Holkar. If you all remember, he has earlier compared Mamata Banerjee to the Queen of Jhansi.

This clearly means that Sanjay Raut wants to see Mamata Banerjee lead the UPA. Though he has not named Mamata Banerjee, in his article, he equaled Mamata Banerjee with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Amit Shah and wrote that "Prime Minister Modi brought himself on par with Mamata Banerjee, yet the BJP lost in West Bengal. That is, only Mamata Banerjee can take on the Modi-Shah duo.''
