Mumbai: BJP leader Kirit Somaiya has recently once again targeted Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut and levelled serious allegations against him. In fact, today (January 30, Sunday), Kirit Somaiya held a press conference (BJP vs Shiv Sena over Wine). Speaking to reporters during the event, Kirit Somaiya said that 'Maharashtra's big industrialist Ashok Garg has a partnership with Sanjay Raut in a wine company called Magpie Global Limited. He has a big investment in this wine business. Sanjay Raut's two daughters and wife are holding the position of directors in the company. This company has a business of pubs, clubs, hotels and wine distribution. Due to the huge investment in the wine business, Sanjay Raut is supporting the decision to sell wine in malls and grocery stores and is engaged in making Maharashtra a 'Madyarashtra'.'

At the same time, he also said that, on April 16, 2021, Sanjay Raut's family has signed a contract with this company. Sanjay Raut's two daughters - Vidhita and Purshi - are directors in this company. Somaiya said that if his allegations are false, then Sanjay Raut should prove it wrong. Sanjay Raut has also hit back at this blow. On the other hand, responding to Kirit Somaiya's allegations, Sanjay Raut told reporters, "Do Kirit Somaiya's children sell chana? Does Amit Shah's son sell bananas? Or are the children of Devendra Fadnavis or other BJP leaders sitting opened dance bars? If I have a winery business, take them in your possession by the BJP leader, and run them. My daughters are directors in a company, so what's wrong? At least like a BJP leader's child, they are not in the drug business.''

With this, Sanjay Raut, expressing his relationship with the industrialist associated with the wine business, said, 'Yes, industrialist Ashok Garg is our friend. so? If a person, a family does some kind of business, does some work, then does he commit a crime? Have I committed a crime by befriending them? Also, find out how many BJP leaders have wineries and sugar mills. You are entering our houses. Talking about children. This is not the culture of Maharashtra politics. All this will not work in Maharashtra politics. Let us also tell you all that the Maha Vikas Aghadi government of Maharashtra has allowed the sale of wine in malls, supermarkets and grocery stores of the state. Yes and BJP is opposing it. At the same time, Sanjay Raut had also supported this decision of his government and said that wine does not mean alcohol.
