Maharashtra: The Uddhav Thackeray government is surprising everyone these days by announcing its new decisions. Recently it has withdrawn the consensus given to the Central Investigation Agency CBI to investigate state affairs. This means that now CBI will not come to investigate any case in Maharashtra. If it comes, it will have to get permission from the government there first. Recently, Shiv Sena spokesperson and Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Raut has expressed happiness over the matter. He said, 'CBI started getting into small matters too. CBI has its own existence.'

In a state like Maharashtra, if there are any national reasons, then they have the right to investigate. Apart from this, it said, 'Mumbai or Maharashtra Police started an investigation on a subject, FIR is filed in some other state. From there the case goes to CBI and CBI comes to Maharashtra. Now this will not work, Maharashtra and Mumbai Police have their own right, which is given by the Constitution.'

The CBI had filed an FIR on Tuesday based on the registration of the case by the Uttar Pradesh Police. It happened that the case was filed at Hazratganj police station in Lucknow on the complaint of the promoter of an advertising company, which was later handed over to the CBI by the Uttar Pradesh government. This case is related to manipulation of TRP and after this case, the Maharashtra government was angry. Something similar happened in the Sushant Singh Rajput death case earlier.
