New Delhi: Congress Working President Sonia Gandhi has written a letter to CM Uddhav Thackeray of Maharashtra regarding welfare schemes for scheduled castes and tribes. On this, senior Shiv Sena leader and Rajya Sabha member Sanjay Raut said that this is a good thing. Raut said that if an agenda of the Congress party has come out which is in the interest of the people of Maharashtra and the state, then it should be welcomed. This is not a politics of pressure.

Sanjay Raut further said, "Sonia Gandhi is the chairperson of the UPA. Sonia and Sharad Pawar had an important role in forming the government of Maharashtra Vikas Aghadi. When Maha Vikas Aghadi's government was formed, a common minimum program was prepared." The Grand Alliance government is based on the Common Minimum Program. However, due to the Coronavirus, the work of the Common Minimum Program is pending. Due to Corona, the government has increased the workload significantly." He said that there is no pressure of an alliance with the Congress.

Recently Congress leader Sonia Gandhi wrote a letter to Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackeray and reminded on what basis the government was formed in Maharashtra. The government is formed in a coalition of three parties Shiv Sena, NCP and Congress in Maharashtra.
