Mumbai: The political crisis in Maharashtra is still going on. Amidst all this, Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut has said, "People would like to trust the Uddhav Thackeray-led Shiv Sena. Uddhav Thackeray Ji said that those who have gone out should not use the name, Shiv Sena. Taking a dig at the same, Raut said, "Rebel MLAs should use their father's name and ask for votes. Earlier, Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut tweeted targeting the rebel MLAs of the party on Sunday.''

He wrote on his Twitter wall, "After all, how long will they (MLAs) remain 'hiding' in Guwahati in Assam, after all, they have to come to 'Chowpatty' (in the context of Mumbai)." On the Maharashtra crisis, the Shiv Sena MP tweeted, "How long will you hide in Guwahati, you have to come to Chowpatty. Let us also inform you that the major government establishments in south Mumbai, including Mantralaya (state secretariat), Vidhan Bhavan (legislature complex), Raj Bhavan and the chief minister's official bungalow 'Varsha', are located in the vicinity of Girgam beach, also known as Girgam Chowpatty.

At the same time, most of the Shiv Sena MLAs have expressed their support to minister Eknath Shinde and are currently camping in Guwahati, which has put the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) government led by Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray in crisis. The Maharashtra Legislature Secretariat on Saturday issued a 'summons' to 16 rebel Shiv Sena MLAs, including Shinde, on the basis of their plea seeking their disqualification and sought a written reply by the evening of June 27. The party's national executive has authorised Uddhav Thackeray to take action against the rebel MLAs.
