Mumbai: The battle for Maharashtra's political turmoil continues to grow and the incident has reached the streets. Supporters of Uddhav Thackeray and Eknath Shinde are shouting slogans against each other and burning effigies. Meanwhile, senior Shiv Sena leader Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Raut has once again attacked the rebel MLAs.

Sanjay Raut, who has always been in the news for his statements, has once again made an objectionable tweet for the rebel Shiv Sena MLAs without taking names. Sanjay Raut wrote, "These are moving dead corpses.'' Today is a very special day of state politics amidst the ongoing turmoil in Maharashtra because the chances of the floor test that the rebel MLAs were demanding have now increased. It is being said that Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari may take suo motu cognizance of the entire matter and decide to conduct the floor test. At the same time, after getting relief from the Supreme Court till July 11, there are reports that the Shinde faction may return to Mumbai today (June 28).

Amid the looming threat to the Maharashtra government, the BJP has also geared up and the party has also asked many of its MLAs to be on alert. Today (June 28), a meeting of all the party's top leaders is going to be held at the house of former Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis.
