Indore: A so-called journalist named Mohammad Tanvir compared the singing of bhajans by Hindu people on a train to 'Mujra'. Others on social media also joined Tanveer and started making a wrong comparison between 'bhajan' and 'namaz in public places'. In his tweet, Tanveer shared a video of Hindus traveling to Ayodhya by train and tagged the Railway Ministry complaining about it. He wrote, "Namaste Railway Ministry, why bhajan kirtan is being done in this train going from Indore to Ayodhya? If a Muslim had prayed for five minutes, he would have been arrested by now. If it is wrong to pray in the train, then how is bhajan-kirtan justified? Hello Ashini Vaishnav, will there be any action against this?"

In a subsequent tweet, he used derogatory language and said, "A person who is participating in bhajan kirtan is a prominent Congress leader from Indore. He is taking people to Ayodhya for free and doing Mujra in the train. Mujra is a form of dance performed by the Tawaifs in the wake of the Mughal era for the Mughal rulers, nawabs.'' Tanvir writes for report look. His tweet was retweeted by Rohini Singh. Another journalist Ahmed Khabir said, "If it is a crime to offer namaz in a train, then what is it?" Everything is fine for them on the train. If a Muslim prays for ten minutes on a train, his videos go viral and an FIR is lodged against him and he is arrested.

The video was first shared by Congress MLA Sanjay Shukla. Each year, he arranges a religious visit to Ayodhya for the devotees. This year, he was accompanied by 600 devotees from Indore. From tickets, stays, and travels to darshan in Ayodhya, everything was arranged by Shukla. Talking to the media, Shukla said, "This is their mindset. I don't want to comment on it. I am fulfilling my duties. They can do whatever they want. I'm doing what I think is right. It's for religion. I am doing it for religion and I will continue to do it.'' Advocate Vikas Pareek commented on Tanvir's post and said he would lodge an FIR against the journalist for using derogatory language. "The use of derogatory words like Mujra for 'Bhajan-Kirtan' not only hurts the religious sentiments of the Hindu communities but also hurts the dignity of women," Pareek said in a tweet, tagging the Uttar Pradesh Cyber Crime Unit. Please take cognizance of the offense and take appropriate legal action against the offender.
