His real name was Harihar Jethalal Jariwala, but when he came into the film world, he came to be known as Sanjeev Kumar. He started his career with the Bollywood film Nishan. Sanjeev, who gave many powerful films to Bollywood, died of a heart attack on November 6, 1985, at the age of just 47 years. Today is his 35th death anniversary.

Sanjeev played many roles in his career, but there is one actress with whom he played the roles of husband, brother, father-in-law. This actress is Jaya Bachchan. He played the role of Jaya's husband in the film Koshish, the lover in film Anamika, Sanjeev Kumar became the brother of Jaya in the film 'Silsila', while he played her father-in-law in the film Sholay.

Sanjeev Kumar remained a bachelor for a lifetime. He used to love Bollywood actress Hema Malini. Although his name was associated with many actresses, but if he wanted any actress with full devotion, she was Hema Malini. Sanjeev proposes to Hema Malini, but she rejects his love and marries Dharmendra. After rejecting his love, Sanjeev never married again and remained single all his life.
