Saif Ali Khan made a promising debut this year with Abhishek Kapoor's Kedarnath. She stars alongside Sushant Singh Rajput in this love story. Sara’s performance is praised by critics and the audience as impressed them with her character Mukku in the film. She adds life to her character and makes it lovable and fun on screen. After Kedarnath, Sara Ali Khan has second release this year, Rohit Shetty's Simmba. She stars alongside Ranveer Singh in the film. Simmba will hit the screens on December 28, 2018.

Earlier, Sara Ali Khan graced Karan Johar's Koffee With Karan Season 6 this year with her father Saif Ali Khan. The father-daughter duo had a lot of fun and revealed interesting details about each other. Saif and Sara also shared that they often argue and discuss important topics.

In an interview with Mid Day, Keadarnath actress revealed that she doesn't discuss films with her dad and there's a reason for it. She said that Her father looks at her  like she is a traitor for discussing films. He lives with Kareena, is a brother to Soha, and is an actor's son. She further said that  So, now, if I discuss work, he's like, 'Please don't do this to me.' So, we don't talk about films often.

Sara also said that they talk about history, argue about what Hitler's motivations were, or who was wrong in the Cold War.
