Power Grid Corporation of India has drawn recruitments for appointment to several posts of 137 field engineers

Field Engineer (Electrical)- 48 posts are vacant for the post. Under this, posts are reserved for 22 seats for unreserved quota, 12 for OBC, 7 for SC, 3 for ST, 4 EWS, 1 PwBD, and 5 for Ex-Service Men.

Field Engineer (Civil)- There are 17 vacancies in the post for which recruitments have been made. Under this, 9 unreserved, 4 OBC, 2 SC, 1 ST, 1 EWS, 1 PwBD, and three posts are reserved for Ex-Service Man.

Field Supervisor (Electrical)- 50 posts have been filled up for this purpose. 22 unreserved, 13 OBC, 7 SC, 3 ST, 5 EWS, 1 PwBD, and 7 posts are reserved for ex-servicemen for field supervisor post.

Field Supervisor (Civil)- 22 posts are vacant for this post. Recruitment has been drawn for this purpose. Under this, 11 posts are reserved for unreserved, 5 OBC, 3 SC, 1 ST, 2 EWS, 1 PwBD, and 3 posts for Ex-Service Man.

Educational Qualification:-
Candidates have B.SC to apply for 137 field engineer posts (Engg.) /B.E/B.Tech/BE (Power Engg.)/ M.Tech/ME degree is required. You can view the official notification of the PGCIL for information on various qualifications related to the posts of Field Engineer (Electrical), Field Engineer (Civil), Field Supervisor (Electrical), and Field Supervisor (Civil).

Application Fee:-
Unreserved and OBC category applicants will have to pay the application fee of Rs 400 for applying for 137 field engineer posts of PGCIL. While SC/ST/PwBD and Ex-Servicemen will not have to pay the application fees for applying for these posts.

Age Limit:-
Applicants applying for field engineer posts should not be more than 29 years of age till August 27, 2021. Applicants should not be born before August 27, 1992, and after August 27, 2003.
