Vacancies have been taken out by bihar technical service commission for candidates looking for government jobs in several posts. Recruitments to the posts of Medical Officers are being made by the BTSC. Online applications are being made for these posts. Candidates have been given time till 24th May, 2021 to apply. More than 6000 vacant posts of Best Medical Officer and General Medical Officer will be filled up under this recruitment. Applications will be accepted only in online mode. The candidates selected under this recruitment will be appointed to the post of Medical Officer. Before applying, you must check the official notification by visiting the portal-btsc.bih.nic.in.

Description of Posts:
A total of 6338 posts will be filled up in the recruitment of Medical Officers issued by bihar technical service commission. It will fill up 3706 posts for Specialist Medical Officer and 2632 posts for General Medical Officer.

Educational Qualifications:
Candidates applying for the post of Specialist Medical Officer should have an equivalent degree or diploma or MBBS and post graduation degree from any recognized university or institution. In addition, candidates are required to have 12 months of internship experience in the Nation Medical Council or Government Hospital. Candidates applying for the post of General Medical Officer should have mbbs or MCI degree.

Age-limit:

As per the notification issued, the maximum age of male general category candidates should be 37 years. The maximum age for women, OBC category and BC category of the same general category has been fixed at 40 years. In addition, the maximum age for SC ST candidate is 42 years.
