The Madras High Court has vacancies for the eighth pass candidates. The posts of Office Assistant, Cook, Waterman, Room Boy, Watchman, Book Restorer, and Library Attendant have 367 vacancies. Candidates can apply online on the portal http://www.hcmadras.tn.nic.in/ of the High Court by April 21. The application fee can be deposited by April 23.

Educational Qualification:
The candidate should have passed the class eighth.  LMV Driving License for Officer Assistant Post/Experience in Cooking/Those who have experience in housekeeping will be seeded.

Age-limit:
The minimum age of the candidate should be 18 years and a maximum of 30 years. SC, SC-A, St, MBC, DC, BC, BCM category will get a rebate of 5 years in the maximum age limit.

The scale of pay:
Pay Level - Rs 1, 15,700 - Rs 50,000

Selection process:
Candidates will be selected through written tests, practical tests, and oral tests. Questions of 50 marks relating to general knowledge and general Tamil will be asked in the written test. The question of general knowledge will be of 35 points and 15 points of Tamil. At least 11 marks in general knowledge and four marks in Tamil are required to pass the examination. Thereafter, the practical test of 50 points will be taken.
