Apart from Mahendra Singh Thakur, the most senior minister in the same cabinet has also expressed confidence in Govind Thakur, Rajiv Saizal, and Virendra Kanwar. With this reshuffle in his cabinet, CM Jairam Thakur has targeted a mission repeat of two and a half years after the reshuffle. Urban Development Department was withdrawn from Sarveen Chaudhary. She has been given the Department of Social Justice and Empowerment from Rajiv Saizal. She also had a social justice and empowerment department in the Dhumal government when she became a minister for the first time. From Markanda to Virendra Kanwar, the Agriculture Department has been given.
There will also be a Panchayati Raj department. After Mahendra Singh in the cabinet, the important education department was withdrawn from another senior minister Suresh Bhardwaj and given to Govind Thakur. He has been given the Urban Development Department. Parliamentary Affairs and Law Department will remain with them as before. The Department of Agriculture has been withdrawn from Ramlal Markanda and given the Technical Education Department. He has been given tribal development, industrial training, and public grievance redressal departments.
